the new APM-HDC-5200 Fiber Optic Polishing Machine

I am proud to announce that we have completed testing and formally released the new Domaille Engineering brand APM-HDC-5200 fiber optic polishing machine.

The new machine has the same basic look and feel as the APM-HDC-5100 that it replaces, but incorporates many of the change requests gathered from three years of customer visits and feedback. These new features include programmable pressure and speed ramp up for controlled slow starting of the polishing cycle.  This is critical on the first polishing operation for most optical fibers and is especially critical when polishing MT/MPO connectors.  The pressure has been increased to 12 pounds to accommodate the increased capacity of the AbraSave™ fixture line.  Domaille has also incorporated automated polishing film counters to notify users when it is time to change the polishing film and a fully programmable maintenance section to alert the user when maintenance items should be performed.  These features will save the user time and money.
